Is Larry kicking himself this week? I would be.
He had Montoya to win and McMurray (who did win) picked 2nd. He scored 113, just 17 less than the winner. Obviously, he thought Jamie Mac could do it, or he would not have been 2nd on his list.
Had he just flip-flopped them-
He could have dropped Montoya (32) and scored 81, winning the week, increasing his top 3’s in the stat section and taking over 2nd place in the standings by 1 point and just 18 behind Mike Wells.
BUT, THAT’S WHAT IF?
He didn’t, so it ain’t! But what does it mean now?
To me, it means he is fine tuning his selection process. If anyone noticed his comments, he said his pick selection was from six hours of studying. Let me remind you, he led almost the entire season last year. He has what it takes.
We are coming up to Pocono and earlier this year, Larry kicked butt here. Larry scored an AMAZING 66 points after dropping McMurray(36). His other driver picks were – 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, 6th, 7th, 9th, 14th and 19th.
Larry has been up and down in the last 4 races, placing – 6th, 3rd, 5th and 4th.
Don’t count him out, it’s hard to stop a train.

You know, I considered McM to win. Teams win. Gannassi wins at Indy. But I had to give fastest team member the prop. Never considered he would order a cheeseburger at the drive-thru though during last pit stop. I will actually give him another shot next year. Am I a glutton for punishment or what. Looking forward to this week. Very hard to pass in this league, hope to make biggest move at Talladega.
Glad you back Mike, great stuff this week.
Hey, I bumped up the site in the pass few days on twitter, facebook, tonystewart, and others

Looks like Juan “Problem” needs to go on a diet then!
Wow, My own page …great.
Just thinking about picks this week.
Are there any drivers that need to work out some problems? Who will be up front this week? Who will be up front at the end?
Well, Johnson still have new baby.
And don’t overlook the fact that Montoya just had baby. Edwards still not himself from baby.
Lets talk about Gannassi for a minute, Montoya’s Crew chief, spotter and Jaun himself.
What a tough break. What a lesson hopefully learned. You just can’t pass at Indy, for that reason, I have to take 2 tires. That’s the lesson. Why am I a Montoya fan, he has costed me alot of points. Risk/Reward. We’ll come back to Montoya – daily
Logano…he can drive, and he has something to prove. Don’t forget about Zippy and the success He/Stewart had at the poke. He can almost drift Pocono. Never forget the Zip
Thinking of Harvick, anything to prove, no, just good.
What about luck… I got nothing
What about bad luck… nothing.
Kurt, there when others fail, but rarely make it his race. Why use your stuff, save it to the end. Not for Johnson/Knaus. How many teams, drivers, crew chiefs will go all out all day? Restrictor plates.
Hey what about using restrictor plates at Bristol? 3 laps, 43 car wreck.
Who wants in the chase? McMurray. Who wants out of the chase? Edwards.
Sam Hornish Jr. may win this week.
Right Now I’m thinking… Hornish to win, Bowyer 2nd, Montoya 3rd, Martin 5th, Hamlin 6th, Harvick 7th, Stewart 8th, Logano 9th, Burton 10th. Kurt 11th, Kyle 12th, McMurray 13th, Reutimann 14th, Kahne 15th, Johnson 16th, Gordon 17th, Kenseth 18th, Biffle 19th, Edwards 20th.
There is only so much room at the finish line. This race will finish 3-wide 3 rows deep and sideways. Now, who would survive that ………
there is only one! Harvick
